Dr. Sean Nguyen was amazing.!!! I hate going to the dentist and he made me feel so comfortable. His staff are also wonderful and the actual office itself is like walking into a 5 star resort. 

I decided to give Dr Nguyen a shot after not really enjoying my old dentist and because his office is very close to where I work, which is a major plus and with the days that he is open at 7am is even better. 

If you are looking for a new dentist I would highly recommend Dr Nguyen I promise you, you will not be disappointed.

I can't begin to express how happy I am I found Dr. Sean Nguyen! I have been looking for a new dentist for sometime now and must say, he is the best dentist I have ever been to. Every member of their staff is incredibly warm and professional. Christina made setting up my appointment seamless and greeted me when I first arrived. I was blown away by how warm and kind each staff member is and how technologically advanced/modern their practice is. 

Once I arrived, I immediately felt at ease being in their care, especially Dr. Nguyen's care. He is incredibly thorough and took his time before my appointment to consult with me. For your x-rays, they use a CAT scan to take images of your whole mouth and jaw, then move on to the more traditional x-rays capturing each section of your mouth.  During the exam, they took further images of the heath of my teeth and were incredibly gentle. They have a T.V screen on the ceiling to keep you distracted which was really nice! I will be going to him for all my future dental needs and HIGHLY recommend Dr. Nguyen if you are looking for a new dentist!

I highly recommend Modern Dentistry. Dr. Nguyen, Taylor and Christina are amazing. No one really likes going to the dentist but they all made it a great visit. Office is super clean and modern. They deserve more then 5 stars.

Honestly if you get inside the Dental clinic you will suddenly feel comfortable already, because the welcome is very warm, started with the front desk that will offer different kinds of drink, it's seems like you are entering a hotel. Dr. Sean Nguyen is very friendly and he will answer your question very well. He has a very light hand when I do his work. Offer the treatment that you need. All I can say is I really had an Amazing experience with Dr. Sean Nguyen's Dental clinic. It's by far the best...

Dr.Nguyen is officially my new primary care dentist. I visited the office for the first time Friday, I really liked the environment as well as how comfortable the Dr. and all of his staff made me feel. Everyone was very clear and concise on everything, from the procedures, to the cost to our future goals when it comes to my teeth and overall oral health.

Dr.Nguyen gave me a crown and a cleaning, I am extremely happy with my visit and experience. Whether he likes it or not, he will be seeing me for the next 20.....30.....40 years haha!

Dr Nguyen and his staff are absolutely amazing! I wound highly recommend this place if you are looking for a great dentist.  I live in LA and drove all the way to Lake Forest and it was so worth the drive.  I was very impressed with the decor of he office, all state of the art technology and my favorite was the HD TVs on the ceiling! Nice to be able to catch up on your favorite Netflix show while getting work done.

First off, I hadn't been to the dentist for about 7-8 years, since I had my root canal. Before that, I hadn't been for another 10 years.  Why?  Terrified of the dentist and had a really bad experience when I was a kid.  

I knew that I really needed to go to the dentist soon and lucky for me, my girlfriend informed me that her cousin started his own practice close to my house and he is really nice.  I was still hesitant because my anxiety had recently gotten worse.  I waited a few weeks and finally called to make an appointment.  The receptionist, Shanelle (sorry if I spelled your name incorrectly) was so sweet. She had to deal with my craziness with scheduling.  I was able to get in the following week. 

When I got there, my nerves were all over the place.  Dr. Nguyen took his time with me.  Made sure that I was as comfortable as I could be.  His assistant, Taylor, was wonderful as well.  I had a few moments where my anxiety got the best of me and she was so patient.  After my xrays, Dr. Nguyen gave me the rundown of the results. I knew that if i didn't take care of some of the procedures that day, I would postpone them as far as I could.   He understood and was able to execute some of the procedures that I needed done.  During my time there (about 3 hours), I had waves of anxiousness but the whole team was wonderful and made me feel less anxious.  

I made another appointment to finish up the rest about a week and a half later.  I did, however, call with the intent to postpone.  Partly because I got scared again but mainly because I didn't have the funds available at the time.  I don't have dental insurance so the first visit was straight out of pocket and set me back a bit.  But I was informed by the other receptionist, Christina, of the available payment options and it really helped me out. She also told me her personal story about her fear of the dentist.  I am not alone ! Haha! So because of her,  I made it to my originally scheduled appointment.  Dr. Nguyen and his team again really helped me with my nerves and everything went great. 

I truly believe that for the first time, I will be going to the dentist regularly. As long as I get to see Dr. Nguyen and his team.  

So thank you so much for helping me through my lifelong fear of the scary dental office!

Dr. Nguyen and his staff are amazing.  I usually get a check up twice a year and usually drag my feet because I just don't like going to the dentist.  However, going to Lake Forest Modern Dental is a completely different experience.  It's the most relaxing experience I've ever had.  They provide you with amenities that make you feel like home and when you're in the dental chair, you're able to watch any show or movie to your heart's content, making time fly by quickly.  I have super sensitive teeth and I'm always wary when I need a cleaning, but Dr. Nguyen took his time and made me feel at ease.  On top of the service provided by Dr. Nguyen and his staff, everything is brand new, modern, and he has the newest advanced technology right at his fingertips.  He doesn't try to upsell you on anything and comes across as a genuine person who is there to provide you with the best treatment options.

I've had my share of dentists and I know how hard it could be to find your forever dentist.  I can only advise others to give Dr. Nguyen and chance and I guarantee, you won't regret it.

Dr. Sean Nguyen has been my dentist for over 8 years.  I, like most people, had a "fear" of dentists and never found one that put my mind at ease.  All that changed when I met Dr. Nguyen.  He has a very gentle, patient oriented approach and ALWAYS takes enough time with me to make sure I'm happy with whatever dental service I am receiving.  He is also the most HONEST dentist I have ever met in my life!   

His workmanship with his dentistry is top notch and he stands by his work.  When I got a veneer, he went outside with me (natural light) with a mirror to make sure the color was exactly to my liking....I was really impressed that he took the extra step to ensure I was happy (I was!).  He also replaced a broken crown for me at no charge that he had done 5 years earlier...no questions asked.  How many dentists would do that?  He is truly an advocate for his patients and does whatever it takes to make them happy.

I live in Chino Hills and when I heard that Dr. Nguyen had moved to Lake Forest to start his own practice I was happy for him but sad for me.  Now I'll have to drive 45 minutes for my check-ups! LOL!  

I  HIGHLY recommend Dr. Nguyen to anyone who is looking for a caring, gentle, highly skilled and honest dentist!  He is truly one of a kind and I am a patient for life!

I think I just found my forever dentist!  I saw Dr. Nguyen today and was really impressed with his office. I walked by his office while eating nearby, and didn't know that he accepted my PPO insurance, I'm really glad he does.  The front staff was so nice and friendly, and meeting Dr Nguyen made me feel relaxed since he's so positive.  Going to other dentists made me feel like they were speaking a different language, where Dr. Nguyen really talks in simple terms and makes everything seem so easy.  Thanks Lake Forest Modern Dental for helping me out.

I have been on a Yelp boycott for a little while now, but I felt I had to break my boycott for a review for Dr. Nguyen. He literally saved my fiancé's teeth. 

My fiancé had a minor accident that left him with a chipped front tooth just 1 week before our engagement photos. I was quite upset, but Dr. Nguyen saved the day. He took my fiancé in on his first available appointment (he was his first patient!) and stayed after hours to complete two root canals! We did end up having to postpone our engagement photos due to his amazing dental advice (Dr. Nguyen understood the importance of our photos to us, but refused to sacrifice good dental health and hygiene). We received the crowns one week later and now, my fiancé is as good as new! He even saw him for a visit after to get it extra perfect. 

Dr. Nguyen's office is gorgeous and has state of the art technology like I've never seen, but the real shining star is Dr. Nguyen - he values good dental health and truly cares for his patients. Nowadays, it's hard to find good care and even harder to find a good dentist you can trust; you'll find that with Dr. Nguyen and his wonderful team for sure.

Disclaimer- I don't yelp much. When I do, it's either to heap praise or to tear a service down. 

Today, I'm happily heaping praise!!  You must check out Lake Forest Modern Dental.  The only thing that needed tearing down today was the plaque on my teeth- which Dr. Nguyen swiftly handled and with zero discomfort. Considering how long it's been since I've seen a dentist, this was no small feat...

I'm not proud to admit it, but it had been 10 years- yes, TEN- a whole decade, since I had last seen a "tooth doctor".  Not only did Dr. Nguyen not embarrass me about that poor choice, but he worked with me (i.e. did not charge me an arm and a leg, or even a molar) for a deep clean. A much needed deep clean, that got my chompers looking like they did when I was 25.

Pros: 
-State of the Art Facility ( Equipment, Flat Screen TV's, Wireless Headphones, etc)
-Friendly & accommodating staff
-Genuinely cares about each client (individual attention from Dr. Nguyen, not just a hygentist)
-Technique (Zero Pain) Did I mention I had not seen a dentist in 10 years?
-My teeth have never looked or felt so good.

Cons:
-They offered me coffee while I was relaxing in the super comfortable, aesthetically impressive, magazine filled, waiting room. I don't drink coffee...but come to think of it, if I did- I'd be pretty stoked that my dentist is offering it.  This might be a pro actually.

In Conclusion:

Seriously- I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Nguyen & Lake Forest Modern Dental (Christina, Taylor, et al)  I'm happy to have healthy teeth again and more importantly, to have found a Dentist I can depend on.

Best Dentist in Town. Dr. Nguyen DDS is very good, gentle and efficient. Definitely the best Dentist I've ever been to, now even my husband comes to this Dentist office. They have a beautiful brand new office, very clean and state of the art technology.

I had a real huge anxiety of being judged and scolded and talked down to. I had many bad dental office experiences. I decided to face my fears and as I was getting lunch stopped by their office. I talked to the dentist and he put all my worries at ease treated me with warmth and compassion. Just went in for a whole set of X-Rays and exam and he told me the issues I had with my teeth and we came up with a plan and he said we will just take it one step at a time. I cannot tell you how relieved I was. Thank you !! phew

I have been a colleague of Dr Nguyen's for about 8 years and in the dental field for over 15 years. It's safe to say I've seen it all... the good, the bad and the ugly. With that said, I know what good dentistry is and what isn't, so why some might think this review might be biased, believe me when I say I only trust a few dentists and have only select few treat me. I'm deathly afraid of getting work done on my teeth since I had a traumatic experience when I was younger (even my cleanings I get anxiety) so when i first met Dr. Nguyen, it took until I got to know him and his work ethic until I let him see me. It didn't take too long to trust him and the quality of work he created, because it was apparent he was a great person, and dentist. He's not only patient and kind, he's knowledgeable, gentle, & genuinely cares for his patients. He is a thorough listener and will always puts the patients needs and wants first by creating a plan that will benefit the patients oral health without being overwhelming. His philosophy is "spreading goodwill" and creating a practice where patients feel comfortable and can get the best treatment but at their own pace so it's obtainable. He is my dentist for life and I encourage everyone whom reads this review to give Lake Forest Modern Dental an opportunity to make themselves a patient for life as well!

I have had my fare dealings with dentist and their staff, from general to speciality dentist.  Believe me when I say Dr. Nguyen and his staff are  amazing.  You will have an exuberant feeling come over you when walking into his office.  You can tell he is passionate about dental and the patients well being and comfort, from the staff he hired to the layout of his office. When I was driving to work Dr. Sean Nguyen phone number was on the building where he has his office the sign was saying they accept new patients I called the doctor answered and the overall experience was top notch he asked about my insurance he investigated and called me back in a timely manner I made a appointment and was very pleased he took his time when I arrived gave me a tour and he really cared about my dental needs I was so impressed with him I made a appointment for my wife the next day.
